
2009 to-do list.
Hmmm…..
Well it’s a brand new year. 2009 is going to be filled with strange, life changing experiences, I can feel it. All I can do is look back at 2008 and laugh. I have changed so much and undergone ENORMOUS circumstances. So it is with a heavy heart, and a HUGE gasp of FRESH air that I take in this new and wonderful year. Last year, I made a list of things to do, inspired by Turtleheart from Turtleheart Cove. This year I want to change it up a bit, and choose things that are actually possible, although I did complete roughly 85% of last years previous list, which isn’t bad I might add, for someone such as myself. So without further adeiu here it is:
2009 list of change.
outer LIFE
home:
- project a happier home life
- paint new apartment
- redesign living spaces
- set up a sanctuary
- possibly look for storage away from apartment
travel/adventure:
- plan another trip to NYC
- plan trip back to ocean
- go hiking
- kayak
- swim at the lake
gardening:
- start herb garden for cooking specifically
- one world- red begonias
- plant some trees
- another word- compost! hehe.
- create an out-of-doors labrynth
cooking:
- learn some damn recipes by memory
- bake more
- one desert every two weeks
- learn to not just bake
- buy damn martha stewart cookbook
scrapbooking/arts:
- start that damn scrapbook!
- create memory board
- paint more
- do a weekly sketch of something mundane/beautiful
- finish design for The Philosopher’s Guild
family/ancestry:
- Bring the Philosopher’s Guild into being
- delve a bit more on ancestry.com
- make family tree for grams for yuletide
- find favourite family photo shots and make black&white
- do a family portrait if i get REALLY creative
spiritual:
- try to do morning meditation
- work on my “inner LIFE” list
- be nicer
- don’t let stress over-ride my compassion
- think, MORE
health:
- try to run
- dental appointment
- optometrist
- try not to drink so much
- join the damn gym!
- eat more damn protein!
- gain some damn weight!!
learning:
- GO BACK TO EFFING COLLEGE!!!!
- set up interview with counselor at Ualbany
- one site- TED.com!
- finish the books i havnt read yet
- start up classes
misc.:
- expand on both my inner and my outer LIFE
- join a book club
- go out more
