strip yourself,,.
Im only one voice in a million, but you aint taking that from me,
‘cuz when it all boils down, At the end of the day, It’s what you do and say
That makes you who you are, Makes you think about it,
Think about it, Doesn’t it
Sometimes all it takes is one voice..
What is it about these moments in our lives where we find ourselves stuttering for voice, gasping for air? These moments where we feel completely helpless, voiceless. We all share this moment. Whether you are young or old, we all feel bleak. The singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield has once again Stripped down the inner being of our crushing souls, and allowed an exit, a highway where our inner heartbreak can be heard.Oftentimes, I find myself compelled by song lyrics to write. To grasp at that inspiration and go with it. It is how I get MY inner voice to speak. What do you do?
Do you paint? Cook? Are you compelled to Murder?
It is never easy this life we have. But it is a LIFE. So: LIVE. No need for pointless mistakes that should never have happened to begin with. Take control of YOUR life, my friends. Because at the end of that good-night, you may just find yourself riding in the back seat of a moving vehicle, clenching your best friend in hopes that this nightmare that has just unfolded, has indeed become a reality, praying to the gods that you will get home safely.
So speak your Voice.
Become a conduit, strip yourself down to your bare self: your marrow and BELIEVE. Believe that you have that ability to sing outward and scream, standing up for all that you are. Every beautiful cell of your soul. Sing: “You ‘aint taking that away from me!” Because at the end of the day, that is all that matters: your Life. I hope you all can take this moment and really listen to the lyrics as it is playing.
It is your turn to be free.
I am inspired: the night sings to me as if i were once deaf to the song of life. it is awakened and the banshee weeps. It is this moment. This unending divine moment: where the young can love. Where life is but a transcendence of time and dream mixes with reality. Where I am free. (c) 10 November 2010
