Julie Ann Smith's Oil Canvas "Broken heart" Even though I do not fully support the use of medications for heart-ache, I do recognize some persons' need for it. I felt liek this particular painting brings about several key points a a person's life and felt it provoking.

Ever feel as if your life has been one giant misfortune after another? Ever feel like you’ve worked hard everyday for the past forever? And have thought “WHYYY am I doing this to myself?!” This has been such the question I have had lately. I work almost a 60 hour week everyday, including going in on my day(s) off. So… WHY? Ive been struggling to find myself and I asked myself this question last night before going to bed. I have contemplated doing meditation again, but WHEN am I
really able to do do? I’ve go tot make THE TIME. So, how does one do this? Well I believe that Elizabeth Gilbert knew exactly how. I posted a snippet of her book Eat, Pray, Love. But I failed to explain it. Well, in three simple words, Liz shows us this in 108 ways.

If you want to be happy, it is really quite simple and you don’t even have to travel the world to do so. You just have to BE THE CHANGE. That’s it. Nothing more. If you want to have a happy life, you must do the following:

No. 1- Make your life DELICIOUS! Cook, indulge yourself. Give into your most secret desires (assuming they hurt no one in the process). And of course, Have SEX!

No. 2- DEVOUT yourself to the life you want. Take the Time. Give yourself an everyday self- ritual to improve what you want to improve. Tell yourself that your past is your past, and MOVE THE FUCK ON. If you want your heart to not be a bloody black hole, stop sniveling on the bathroom floor, and dooo something about it. HEAL YOURSELF. Surround yourself with friends and family, but do not allow them to be your crutches, you have to perfectly well muscled legs and hands if need be, so crawl about the room and STAND THE FUCK UP!

No. 3- Find a BALANCE in your life. This is probably the most difficult but “I have faith in you. You can do this. I love you. I will never leave you.” Develop a symbiosis between your carnal desires and your spiritual aspirations. Wake up the the world each morning with a smile. Pop in some happy musik, take a shower with incense floating in the mists. Eat a delicious and FILLING breakfast. Go to work with an extra jump in your step, give them something to talk about!! It’s all about the small details. Oh, and P.S. don’t allow yourself to stay at home while your friends are out having fun. Don’t invent reasons to not go, don’t take that extra shift at work, and for the love of a freshly baked blueberry danish, DO NOT watch the Lifetime network for AT LEAST 3 months.

There, now you have it. It’s all about love. Loving others, loving others especially when you feel they don’t deserve it. Unconditional love is key. Open your heart, let it heal and GROW. And if you have to, quit your job, and travel to Italy, India, and Indonesia. It may just help, and if you can’t afford to do so, that’s why you were blessed with a BRAIN. USE it! Imagine something more, something far greater than your everyday monotony. And FYI my morning (all day) song was this one: :)

Tonight’s gonna be a good night
that tonight’s gonna be a good good night (x4)

Tonight’s the night night
Let’s live it up
I got my money
Let’s spend it up

Go out and smash it
like Oh My God
Jump off that sofa
Let’s get get OFF

I know that we’ll have a ball
if we get down
and go out
and just loose it all

I feel stressed out
I wanna let it go
Lets go way out spaced out
and loosing all control

Fill up my cup
Mazal tov
Look at her dancing
just take it off

Lets paint the town
We’ll shut it down
Let’s burn the roof
and then we’ll do it again

Lets Do it (x3)
and live it up

i gotta feeling that tonight’s gonna be a good night
that tonight’s gonna be a good night
that tonight’s gonna be a good good night (x2)

Tonight’s the night

Here we come
here we go
we gotta rock

Easy come

now we on top

Feel the shot

Rock it don’t stop

Round and round
up and down
around the clock

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Friday, Saturday, Saturday and Sunday

we keep keep keep keep on going
we know what we say
party everyday
party everyday

got a feeling
that tonight’s gonna be a good night
that tonight’s gonna be a good night
that tonight’s gonna be a good good night

Since I woke up this morning I have had the Black Eyed Peas’ new song “Ive got a feeling” stuck inside my head, and to tell you the truth I have enjoyed it. . .
